Who is affected: students getting vocational (vocational and technical), advanced professional, or higher education
Summary of the bill:
- the bill specifies eligibility conditions for military conscription during mobilization during a special period:
- students getting full-time or dual-form education at the levels of education in the sequence defined by the Law on Education will not be conscripted if they enrolled for their current program no later than a year after reaching the age of thirty
- interns and post-graduates studying in full-time or dual-form programs are eligible for conscription
- educators of vocational educational establishments will not be conscripted.
What is right:
- there will be fewer possibilities for citizens to abuse Ukrainian laws to avoid mobilization
- mobilization capabilities of the state will be increased.
