- 3901090 Ensuring the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens of Ukraine Residing in Temporarily Occupied Territories, Assistance to Citizens of Ukraine on Humanitarian Crisis Issues: 51 million 868 thousand UAH
- 3901100 Measures for Creating Systems and Databases on Reintegration: 39 million 316 thousand UAH.
What is right:
- the Cabinet introduced regulations on issues of authority for forming and implementing state policy regarding the reintegration of temporarily occupied territories.
Background information:
On December 3, 2024, the Cabinet renamed the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine to the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine.
Why this is important: reintegration of temporarily occupied territories and support for internally displaced persons is a long-term process requiring coordination and a systemic approach. After the renaming of the Ministry of Reintegration to the Ministry of Unity, it was unclear what would happen to the developed policies and who would manage the corresponding budget funds.
