Summary of the resolution: the following sectoral sanctions are imposed:
- complete prohibition of trade operations with goods of military purpose and dual-use with residents of Iran, services related to such goods, termination of transit of resources, flights, and transportation of such goods through the territory of Ukraine, as well as suspension of performance of economic and financial obligations for the benefit of residents of Iran in transactions with such goods and services
- a blanket ban on trade operations with residents of Iran concerning military and dual-use goods and services, a blanket ban on the transit of resources, flights, and transportation of military and dual-use goods via the Ukrainian territory, and suspension of economic and financial obligations to Iranian residents concerning operations with military and dual-use goods and services
- prohibition on capital withdrawal from Ukraine by residents of Iran
- prohibition to transfer technologies and rights to intellectual property to residents of Iran
- prohibition of investments in Iran or for the benefit of residents of Iran
- suspension of servicing electronic payment instruments issued by residents of Iran
- sanctions are imposed for 50 years
- the Cabinet of Ministers in cooperation with the Security Service, Foreign Intelligence Service, National Bank, and other government bodies will oversee that the sanctions are imposed.
What is right: it is much harder for the residents and enterprises of Iran to influence the economy of Ukraine.
