Who is affected: private individuals and legal entities cooperating with residents of Russia and Belarus in the defense industry
Summary:
Ukraine imposes the following sanctions for a period of 50 years:
- it will be prohibited to transfer technologies and rights to intellectual property to residents of Russia and Belarus
- residents of these countries will have no access to protected Ukrainian documents
- residents of these countries will not be allowed to access objects of intellectual property: inventions, utility models, industrial designs, layout designs of semiconductor products, trademarks, plant varieties, and copyright objects.
What is right: Ukraine will increase its defense capabilities by terminating joint projects and industrial programs in the security and defense industry by cutting off the residents of the Russian Federation and/or Belarus from this market, including access to military goods and dual-use goods.
