Sanctions against Russian enterprises and establishments

Presidential decree #192/2023 of April 1, 2023

Who is affected: Ukrainian and Russian enterprises of the military-industrial complex, natural persons and legal entities under sanctions, and the international community 

Summary of the decree: 

• sanctions will be imposed against 33 natural persons and 255 legal entities, including JSC Information Satellite Systems Reshetnev, JSC Volzhsk Electromechanical Plant, Central Scientific-Research Institute for Precision Machine Engineering, and others 

• the sanctions against natural persons include: the blocking of assets, prevention of capital withdrawal from Ukraine, prohibition to participate in privatization, ban on entering the territory of Ukraine, and prohibition to buy land 
• the sanctions against legal entities include: blocking of assets, complete halt of trade operations, prohibition to participate in privatization and procurements, and prohibition to transfer technologies 
• sanctions against these natural persons and legal entities are imposed for 10 years.  

What is right: 

• the decree makes it impossible for Russia to influence the military-industrial complex of Ukraine and the market of tools and electronics of Ukraine.
