What will change for conscripts?
On February 26, the President signed amendments to the law On Military Duty and Military Service regarding the term of military service for conscripts. The changes will come into effect after publication and will allow to discharge to the reserve conscripts whose term of service ended during martial law. This applies to the 13,575 conscripts who were enlisted for military service between October and December 2021.
