Summary:
- administrative liability will be strengthened for violating the rights of mobility-impaired groups and persons with disabilities during the planning and development of territories
- fines for such violations will be from 1,700 to 2,000 non-taxable minimum incomes (from 28,900 to 34,000 UAH).
What is right: higher fines will encourage developers and planners to consider the needs of persons with disabilities and mobility-impaired groups at the stage of designing. This will contribute to creating an accessible and comfortable environment for all people.
