Summary: 

  • the legislators propose to increase the subsistence minimum: 
    • for one person: from April 1 — 4,710 UAH, from July 1 — 6,645 UAH, from October 1 — 9,761 UAH 
    • for a child under 6 years: from April 1 — 3,627 UAH, from July 1 — 5,110 UAH, from October 1 — 7,533 UAH 
    • for a child from 6 to 18 years: from April 1 — 4,571 UAH, from July 1 — 6,451 UAH, from October 1 — 9,467 UAH 
    • for an adult able-bodied person: from April 1 — 5,400 UAH, from July 1 — 7,620 UAH, from October 1 — 11,184 UAH 
    • for a person who has lost their ability to work (pensioners and persons with disabilities): from April 1 — 3,407 UAH, from July 1 — 4,808 UAH, from October 1 — 7,056 UAH 
  • the minimum wages will be increased: 
    • monthly: from January 1 — 8,000 UAH, from April 1 — 9,100 UAH, from July 1 — 10,100 UAH, from October 1 — 11,184 UAH 
    • hourly: from January 1 — 48 UAH, from April 1 — 55 UAH, from July 1 — 61 UAH, from October 1 — 68 UAH 
  • the minimum old-age pension will also be increased: from January 1 — 2,361 UAH, from April 1 — 3,407 UAH, from July 1 — 4,808 UAH, from October 1 — 7,056 UAH. 

What is right: indexation of social payments in accordance with actual inflation and gradual improvement of basic social standards will help ensure that social guarantees meet the real needs of the population.
