Who is affected: employees in the electronic communications sector and the Ministry of Digital Transformation
Summary:
- it will be allowed to reserve from mobilization the employees of companies providing electronic communication services and building resilience to power outages networks (xPON) or cellular networks
- the Ministry of Digital Transformation will develop the criteria to designate such companies as critical for the economy and the livelihood of the population during a special period
- reservation will be conducted under the procedure approved by the Ministry of Digital Transformation for employees included in the teams for the construction of such networks.
What is right: if key specialists are reserved, the industry will not lose critically important personnel. Otherwise, not only civil communication but also strategic state and military communication could be at risk.
