The impact of the enemy\u2019s disinformation will be mitigated.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Background<\/strong>: during the last several weeks, <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/bce78c78-b899-4dd2-b3a0-69d789b8aee8?sharetype=blocked\">some Western media<\/a><\/span> published materials about the significant risks of Ukraine selling to the black market weapons, military, and special equipment provided by NATO member states. Later, this suggestion <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.spiegel.de\/ausland\/ukraine-news-am-donnerstag-a-33abe5b6-bfae-45b0-b58c-9ad202729107\">was repeated<\/a><\/span> by the speaker of the Europol Jan Op Gen Oorth. Europol, though, <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.europol.europa.eu\/media-press\/newsroom\/news\/europol-statement-cooperation-ukraine?mtm_campaign=newsletter\">issued a statement<\/a><\/span> that there is no evidence confirming the smuggling of armaments by Ukraine.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Such rumors are actively forced by russian propaganda. Recently, the enemy\u2019s propagandists <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"https:\/\/voxukraine.org\/fejk-ukrayina-prodala-ptrk-javelin-islamskym-terorystam\/\">spread disinformation<\/a><\/span> that Ukraine had sold anti-tank launchers Javelin and Matador grenade launchers to the Near East. Considering how much resources russians used to push the supposition about Ukraine\u2019s smuggling of armaments, this is a part of a psychological operation by russian special services. The aim of the operation is to shift the public opinion in the USA, Great Britain, and other countries providing military support to Ukraine \u2014 to decrease the level of armaments and ammunition supplies used to fight off the russian invasion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Dismissal of Ruslan Demchenko as the First Deputy Secretary of the NSDC\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Presidential decree <a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kmu.gov.ua\/npas\/pro-zaluchennia-hrantu-na-biudzhetnu-pidtrymku-vid-mizhnarodnoho-banku-t190722\">#\u202f528\/2022<\/a> of July 25, 2022\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Decision-maker<\/strong>: the President\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Who is affected<\/strong>: the National Security and Defense Council and Ruslan Demchenko\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Summary of the decree<\/strong>: Ruslan Demchenko is dismissed as the First Deputy Secretary of the NSDC.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>What is right<\/strong>: the level of trust of the Ukrainian people and international partners in Ukrainian authorities will increase.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Background: at the end of the last year, journalists published results of their investigation proving that in 2010 Ruslan Demchenko <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pravda.com.ua\/news\/2021\/11\/5\/7312887\/\">participated<\/a><\/span> in lobbying the so-called \u201cKharkiv agreements\u201d with russia that prolonged the term of stay of the Black Sea Fleet of the rf in Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city.
