Parties are supposed to be interested in engaging the most popular candidates, so if veterans are the most popular \u2014 they will be on the lists. At the same time, lists should also include doctors, economists, educators, tax specialists, lawyers, entrepreneurs, and IT professionals \u2014 to represent a variety of different social groups and provide professional expertise on draft bills proposed by the Cabinet concerning policies in different sectors.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">The political responsibility of MPs from suspended political parties\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Draft bill <a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"https:\/\/itd.rada.gov.ua\/billInfo\/Bills\/Card\/39711\">#\u202f7424 of June 1, 2022<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Cosponsors<\/strong>: MPs from the Servant of the People faction and For the Future group with Taras Batenko (the head of For the Future group) as the first signatory.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Who is affected<\/strong>: MPs, voters, and Ukrainian citizens.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Summary of the bill<\/strong>: if the President enacts a decision on suspending the activities of a political party represented by a faction in the Parliament, MPs will be able to ban members of this party from participating in sessions of the Verkhovna Rada, ceremonies, parliamentary hearings, work of committees and subcommittees, temporary special committees, etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Why this is important<\/strong>: on March 18, <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"https:\/\/zakon.rada.gov.ua\/laws\/show\/n0005525-22#Text\">the President suspended the activities of several political parties<\/a><\/span>.
