Summary:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>women and men whose close relatives were killed or went missing (were recognized as missing under special circumstances or missing without a trace) during combat operations will have the right to deferment from military service during mobilization<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is right:<\/span><\/b> the bill clearly states that women and men who have lost close relatives (who had been killed or gone missing during combat operations) will have the right to deferment from mobilization. The law eliminates uncertainties that could prevent these individuals from obtaining this right.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The provisions of the current law require to wait for a court decision recognizing a relative as missing to get a deferment. After the proposed amendments, a person will be considered missing from the moment a statement is filed in the Unified Register of Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances.
